We are looking for a highly experienced
SAP Technical Specialist
to support preparation and migration to
SAP HANA Cloud
for a
Federal Government client
. This role is critical to managing a complex ERP environment across multiple networks and agencies, ensuring system stability, cyber compliance, and successful transformation.
Contract
: 12 months, with
two 12-month extensions
(up to 3 years total)

Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert technical guidance on SAP system migrations, upgrades, and hybrid cloud integration
* Manage ECC6, S/4 HANA, BW/4 HANA, Fiori, GRC, BTP services, and HPE GreenLake environments
* Execute system patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
* Integrate SAP BTP with on-premise applications using Cloud Connector and APIs
* Administer SAP Identity Authentication and Provisioning Services (IAS/IPS)
* Support IRAP and ANAO audit readiness, including configuration documentation and GRC compliance
* Configure OpenText platforms (Content Server, Archive Centre, etc.)
* Contribute to automation practices using BTP CLI, CF CLI, and DevOps tooling (Git, CI/CD)
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable system improvements
* Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and uplift of technical documentation
Required Skills & Experience
* 10+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration (NetWeaver, S/4HANA, HANA DB)
* In-depth expertise in SAP BTP administration and hybrid SAP cloud environments
* Experience across a broad range of SAP modules and supporting technologies
* Strong understanding of cloud-native concepts, microservices, and security models
* Experience with government frameworks including IRAP, ISM, PSPF, and ANAO audit practices
* Hands-on experience with system configuration, integration, and SAP data migration
* Familiarity with DevOps automation in SAP landscapes
* Excellent documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
* Certifications in SAP BASIS, HANA, or BTP
* Experience in Commonwealth Government SAP environments
* Exposure to OpenText configuration and support
* Knowledge of Cloud Foundry, SAP Router, SFTP, firewall configurations, and IAM practices
* Understanding of certificate lifecycle management and SSO in SAP environments
