What You’ll Be Doing
The Operations Assistant provides a support function in the operating suite by facilitating the movement, safe positioning and comfort of patients throughout their surgical experience. In addition to supporting patient care, the Operations Assistant assists clinical staff by preparing positioning equipment used in surgical procedures, transporting equipment and stock, restocking consumables and cleaning.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, listen carefully to instructions, seek clarification and carry out tasks as requested.
- Understanding and compliance with infection control principles with attention to detail in performing cleaning and restocking tasks.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, which includes being on feet most of the day and frequent pushing and lifting of patients and other heavy items.
