Your new role
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role sits within the Accounts Receivable team and focuses on end‑to‑end AR duties, with a strong emphasis on credit control. You will take ownership of the receivables ledger, actively managing overdue accounts and supporting improvements to credit control processes to ensure healthy cash flow.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing the Accounts Receivable ledger end to end
* Xero data entry and daily processing
* Completing bank reconciliations
* Debt collection on overdue accounts, including debts aged 90-180 days
* Professionally following up customers to resolve queries and arrange payments
* Supporting the wider finance team with general AR duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a proactive, confident and driven Accounts Receivable professional with strong credit control experience. You'll be comfortable handling older debt and have a professional but firm approach when dealing with customers. Previous experience using Xero is essential, along with the ability to work independently, stay organised and manage competing priorities.
