Our client has a wide range of projects in the pipeline across local government, state government (Transport Inspections of works in progress to verify compliance against design; Administration of construction contracts; Mentoring staff; Scoping of projects and preparation of fee proposals; and Communicate across all levels and interpret client needs.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have extensive Australian experience in a relevant civil engineering area.
This experience will also be backed by a Civil Engineering degree that is recognised by Engineers Australia.
Registration as a Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or eligibility for registration is not required, however will be highly regarded.
You will also have: Demonstrated knowledge of Austroads and DTMR design requirements; Experience with DRAINS, CIRCLY, WaterCad software packages will be highly regarded; and Minimum 10 years civil engineering experience (minimum 5 years relevant Australian experience).
You will be required to hold a valid unrestricted driver's license and Construction White Card, as some travel to job sites (using company pool vehicles) will be required occasionally.
