Key Role: Policy & Project Lead
This is a vital leadership position that oversees projects, provides policy analysis and guidance, supports effective team operation, stakeholder engagement, and ensures alignment with national initiatives and policy directions.
* The successful candidate will have high-level expertise in disability services, sector, and people with disability.
* They must possess high-level project management skills to manage complex projects with multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Exceptional communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills are required to engage and influence stakeholders.
This key role requires a proactive, self-driven individual with resilience to work in a constantly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide strategic advice on ongoing and emerging issues and risks facing local providers in a dynamic state and national policy environment.
2. Contribute to the effective operation of the team, supporting the State Manager and fulfilling leadership responsibilities as required.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with government representatives, disability providers, and multiple stakeholders.
4. Lead assigned projects, deliver objectives, fulfill monitoring and reporting obligations, and workplan targets, coordinating multiple stakeholders and streams of activity.
