About the Company

We are extremely proud to be working closely with an established managed service provider delivering first-class IT services to small and medium-sized organisations across Australia and New Zealand.

Our client provides managed IT solutions, cloud services, disaster recovery, VOIP phone systems and network solutions to over 400 businesses nationally, and they are continuing to grow rapidly. They’ve also built a strong reputation in niche sectors such as specialist dental, medical and SMBs.

Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced Level 1–2 IT Support Engineer to join their Bundall, QLD team.


About the Role

This position involves a mix of remote support and onsite field work, so experience attending client sites and resolving issues face-to-face is essential.

Responsibilities include:

* Provide Level 1–2 support for the Managed Services environment

* Handle incoming calls, create/manage/follow up tickets with high attention to detail and clear communication

* Deliver quality, professional remote support across a broad range of clients

* Provide hands-on support to end users who are struggling with both complex and non-complex IT issues

* Conduct onsite client visits when issues cannot be resolved remotely

* Perform regular daily tasks including backup and DR scheduling and management

* Deployment of PCs using SOE technology including desktop refreshes and rollouts

* Undertake problem management to identify root causes and implement proactive prevention strategies

* Collaborate with Senior Engineers, SMEs and Team Leaders on escalations and project-based work


What you’ll need to succeed

* MSP experience is a MUST

* Experience with onsite field service / client-site support is essential

* Minimum 2 years’ experience providing Level 1–2 technical support

* Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline

* Relevant certifications such as MCSA (Windows Server 2012/2016), MCSA (Office 365), MCSE, MCP

* A valid driver’s licence (required for onsite visits)

1. Troubleshooting and administering AD, servers, cloud and network environments

2. End-user troubleshooting, Directory Sync/Azure AD, user
