Guide Healthcare is a young business with the energy and enthusiasm of a passionate team of Allied Health professionals who have decided to live out the ethos behind why we studied to do what we do, help people to improve their quality of life.
We are looking for a Guidian to join our team. As a Guidian, you will guide our patients and clients towards achieving their goals whether they are living in residential aged care, at home in the community or generally being legends while living with a disability.
Our team includes Physio's, OT’s, Podiatrists, Speechies, Dietitian's and EP’s who do the magic face to face (or via Telehealth when needed). We also have a team supporting them from behind the scenes so they can focus on what matters.
As a Guidian, you will focus on the individual and what they need. No two people are the same, and neither are two days. We like to mix it up and keep things fun and engaging with some healthy competition thrown in.
Some of the amazing things that have happened through our cross-site competitions and award-winning initiatives include:
- 88-year-old competing in weightlifting
- Someone with one leg smashing it in the long jump
- A non-ambulant 2 assist person starting to walk unassisted and completing marathons
- 97-year-old lady thrashing the competition in a Blaze Battle
- Groups of older adults engaging in mindfulness and meditation

- Full AHPRA registration
- Current National Police Check
- Current valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Working with Vulnerable People Check
- NDIS Orientation
- Be fully vaccinated - COVID-19
- Be a valuable human - friendly demeanor
- Love what you do - demonstrated commitment and passion for promoting the quality of life of the elderly
- Make what you do count - excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Think outside the box - ability to think creatively, develop programs, and implement systems
