Smart Talent Group is partnering with a leading experiential events and exhibition business to appoint a Business Development Manager focused on the pubs, clubs and hospitality sector.
This is a role for someone who can open doors, build trust and sell creative solutions that help venues and brands stand out.
You will be working with a business that designs and delivers high‐impact brand experiences, activations, displays and event solutions. The right person will be comfortable speaking with decision‐makers, understanding client needs and turning a brief into a commercial opportunity.
The role will involve
* Developing new business across pubs, clubs, hospitality groups and venue networks
* Building relationships with marketing managers, venue operators and senior decision‐makers
* Identifying opportunities for activations, events, displays and experiential projects
* Taking and interpreting client briefs
* Working with internal creative, design and delivery teams
* Managing pipeline activity and sales targets
* Building long‐term account opportunities, not just one‐off sales
To be successful, you will bring
* Confidence in outbound sales, cold calling and face‐to‐face meetings
* Strong relationship‐building and commercial communication skills
* Experience selling into hospitality, venues, events, exhibitions, media, signage, fit‐out, activations or creative services highly regarded. Experience selling poker machines would be highly regarded.
* A curious, solutions‐focused approach
* Resilience, drive and the ability to manage a full sales cycle
