Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical & Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Professional to join our team in Newcastle, NSW, supporting the operation of AW139 helicopters.
* Perform routine and non-routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs on client aircraft to ensure compliance with regulations and technical publications, maintaining aircraft readiness and operational availability.
* Accurately document all maintenance tasks, ensuring work sheets, logs, tracking systems, and other required records are completed and submitted promptly.
* Work collaboratively with managers, engineers, pilots, and emergency service teams to optimize aircraft availability and performance.
* Support base operations by preparing tasks, maintaining stores, and performing ground support equipment maintenance essential for ongoing operations.
* Maintain accountability for tool control and ensure the cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of hangars, workshops, related workspaces, and vehicles.
* Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to the safety management system and company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Experience in Heavy Maintenance and worked on the fleet of four Leonardo AgustaWestland AW139 helicopters.
* CASA licensed on the AW139.
* Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to follow supervisory direction and maintain a positive attitude.
* Passion for safe work practices.
* Valid work visa and current Australian Driver's licence.
* Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain).
