**Job Title:** Billing Specialist
**Job Summary:**
As a key member of our team, the Billing Specialist will be instrumental in managing and executing financial transactions with a focus on technology and customer support.
**Responsibilities:
* Prepare daily bank deposits, reviewing for accuracy to ensure seamless financial operations.
* Apply payments to outstanding invoices in a timely manner to maintain positive cash flow.
* Monitor and maintain accounts receivable aging to prevent delinquencies and reduce bad debt.
* Assist with accounts receivable process through correspondence and collection calls as directed by management.
* Prepare customer invoices; reconcile customer accounts to ensure accurate billing and payment information.
* Retrieve credit reports and assist with review of customer credit issues to inform business decisions.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable files for efficient record-keeping.
* Support Account Management by supplying detailed invoicing and payment information, as well as assisting in preparing customer forecasts.
* Contribute to related special projects as needed to drive business growth and improvement.
**Requirements:
* Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software (not required but a plus).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other standard office applications.
