The Opportunity
This position is an exciting opportunity to join a great team at a period of growth, our client is looking for someone with Retail Centre Management experience looking to take the next step in their career and work in a head office environment. Some of the responsibilities include:
6. Development and implementation of asset strategies that enhance and/or protect the asset which will guide the leasing and centre marketing strategies.
7. Supporting income growth and stability resulting in sustainable returns for investors.
8. Management of external property/facilities managers to ensure compliance with their obligations and KPI’s as per the Property Management Agreement, including but not limited to:
9. o Management of commercial and retail premises
o Management of tenant lease obligations
o Resolving disputes when they arise
o Management of rental arrears
10. Supporting external Leasing Agents in the negotiation of leases in the
property portfolio.
11. Identifying and implementing a Property Management System, including tenancy information, lease expiry profile and rent reviews and related tenancy and insurance risks.
12. Controlling original title and lease document security storage, as well as controlling insurance incident and claim management and assist with policy renewal.
The Ideal Candidate
13. Ideally, you would have extensive retail experience and have worked on either a key asset or across a portfolio of centres
14. This position requires the ideal person to have strong retail experience along with strong people management skills
15. Great attention to detail skills is a must
16. A hands on approach and happy to get involved across multiple projects
