About The Role
Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, the Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching and driving performance within a high-volume B2B telemarketing offshore sales team. This role is focused on outbound sales activity, telemarketing performance, inbound conversion and KPI delivery. You will play a critical role in building structure, accountability and energy within the team while ensuring CRM accuracy and alignment with broader business objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and manage the telemarketing team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
* Manage daily call activity, sales KPIs, conversion rates and revenue targets
* Conduct regular call coaching, monitoring and structured performance reviews
* Convert inbound enquiries into qualified opportunities and closed sales
* Develop and execute outbound sales campaigns
* Collaborate with field sales and operations teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding
* Manage and optimise CRM usage, reporting accuracy and pipeline visibility
* Monitor market trends, customer feedback and competitor activity to identify opportunities
* Support pricing strategies, quote approvals and margin targets
* Ensure all customer enquiries are completed within agreed SLAs
* Champion safety, compliance, training and product knowledge across the team

Desired Skills And Experience
* Proven experience managing and coaching a telemarketing or call centre team
* Experience leading an offshore outbound sales team is advantageous
* Strong background in outbound B2B sales with demonstrated target achievement
* Ability to drive performance in a high-volume, target-driven sales environment
* Experience converting inbound enquiries into qualified opportunities and closed sales
* Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, preferably Salesforce
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and reporting
* Experience within FMCG, energy, gas or commodity-based industries is advantageous
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and retain sales talent
* Excellent communication, negotiation and objection-handling skills
* Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
