Position: Service Planner – Service Planning Directorate
Location: Eveleigh
Compensation: $137,742 package – salary $110,266 – $122,058 plus employer superannuation contribution and annual leave loading.
Job Summary:
You will contribute to the identification, preparation and development of school infrastructure service needs that meet NSW population growth, school asset suitability, sustainability, and education equity.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team of Service Planners to identify school infrastructure needs.
- Research and analyze relevant information to develop service need strategies and reports.
- Prepare reports, briefings and analyses on asset planning strategies in accordance with departmental and government policies.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (local councils, state agencies, local stakeholders, developers) regarding planning and development issues to add value to the planning process and identify opportunities for resource sharing.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent workplace experience.
- Demonstrated experience in infrastructure planning.
- Experience in research and analysis of development of services for infrastructure needs.
- Extensive experience in writing reports and briefings of asset planning strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality support across multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
