About the position
We are seeking qualified Mechanical Fitters to join our Maintenance team at our Inverell Processing Facility. In this role you will undertake a wide range of preventative and reactive maintenance in ensuring our production facility has minimal downtime and operates as efficiently as possible.

The Role:
In this role you will undertake a wide range of preventative maintenance and supporting of the day-to-day production requirements.
Your key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
* Responding to breakdowns quickly and effectively, demonstrating strong fault finding and problem resolution capabilities to ensure minimum downtime of all plant equipment
* Working constructively and co-operatively within a team environment; Alignment and focus on safety and safe working methods
* Undertaking preventative and routine maintenance schedules
* Assisting with the installation and maintenance of equipment to enhance production efficiency and reliability
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work, including repairs, inspections, and parts inventory, to support efficient operations and compliance requirements.
* Working with our Operations team to ensure continuous improvement initiatives are identified and introduced wherever practicable

About you
* Current Trade Certification - Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining)
* Highly developed fault finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to understand production processes and requirements
* Commitment to complying with Company Policies and Procedures and relevant legislative requirements
* Reliable and proven work history
* Ability to work as part of a rotating roster and undertaking of weekend maintenance work
* Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable but not required
