We are seeking a highly capable and commercially minded Financial Controller to join a dynamic ASX-listed organisation. This is a pivotal role, responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic growth across the business.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee the finance function and play a key role in driving financial performance, governance, and reporting excellence across the group. You will work closely with leadership and global stakeholders, providing insights that influence critical business decisions.
Position Summary – Key Focus Areas
* Lead and manage financial reporting including monthly, half year and annual reporting in line with ASX and regulatory requirements
* Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and international financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions
* Manage external audits and liase with auditors, regulators and key stakeholders
* Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning process
* Strengthen internal controls, risk management frameworks and governance practices
* Provide commercial insights and strategic financial analysis to support business growth
Skills and Experience Required
* CA/CPA qualified with a strong technical accounting expertise
* Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role within an ASX listed or large multinational organisation
* Understanding of financial reporting, compliance and corporate governance
* Exposure to international operations and multi-currency environments
* Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement, commercially astute with the ability to influence at an executive level
