About the Role
You will work in a small team to provide maintenance and repair services for advanced radiation therapy equipment used in cancer treatment. This involves servicing, repairing and maintaining complex electro-mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service and repair radiation therapy equipment to ensure continuous clinical services.
* Respond efficiently to service requests and maintain equipment effectively.
* Communicate clearly with medical physics and other clinical teams, as well as equipment suppliers and service agents.
* Maintain accurate records according to requirements.
Requirements
* Diploma of Electronics & Communications Engineering or equivalent qualification with extensive practical experience or 5 years' experience in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical systems.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate technical information accurately.
* Ability to perform repairs and maintenance on radiation oncology equipment including high energy x-ray medical linear accelerators and equipment containing radioactive substances.
* Able to undertake necessary training, including overseas training as required.
* Demonstrated organisational skills, including multitasking, prioritisation and responding well to change.
