As an Auto Electrician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. You'll work with a variety of vehicles and technology from light commercial vehicles to heavy machinery, in a supportive and safety-focused environment.
What We're Looking For
Service Call Technician
Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician (Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent)
Aircon qualified and valid licence
Minimum of 3 years experience in vehicle electrical diagnostics and repairs
Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and fault-finding
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
Commitment to workplace safety and high-quality workmanship
Current manual driver's licence
Australian work rights are required for this position
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles and equipment, referring larger jobs back to the workshop
Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems on the road
Conduct testing with diagnostic equipment and software
Aircon degassing and re-gassing for our account customers
Work closely with other technicians to ensure efficient turnaround times
Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
