Certain things need to be done with data. The team develops and maintains digital platforms that support curation, publication and reporting of marine research data collected aboard vessels and from infrastructure and biological collections.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Ability to design, develop and maintain web-based tools and data infrastructure systems that support the management and dissemination of marine research data
* Skills in software engineering best-practices such as version control, continuous integration, automated test suites and work-item tracking software
* Able to liaise with key stakeholders within CSIRO and nationally, working with data providers and recipients and experts on data interoperability, collection, processing, metadata, publication and archiving
