How you'll make an impact
Reporting directly to our Home Care Manager, you'll play a vital role in providing customised care and services to each client, supporting them to maintain well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible. You will have the opportunity to build long lasting trusted relationships with your clients and make a real difference, everyday.
A day in the life as a Home Support Worker with Regis Aged Care may see you support our Clients with;
* Getting up and ready for the day and/ or retiring in the evening
* Shopping and meal preparation
* Monitoring medication
* Making and attending appointments
* Keeping the home clean, tidy and safe
* Providing companionship and support to pursue hobbies and interests
About you
As a compassionate and reliable individual who prides themselves with delivering customer service excellence, ideally with experience within the health and/or aged care sector, you'll have;
* A warm and caring nature
* The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* A positive and practical attitude
* Strong communication skills
* A current driver's license.
* Access to a reliable, registered, insured vehicle.
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
