Your Role & Responsibilities
* As a Service Manager, you will: Lead and motivate the service department team in line with business objectives.
* Manage and regularly report on the department's performance KPI's against set objectives to the General Manager/Dealer Principal.
* Monitor service department sustainability by reviewing daily the departments revenue, margins, and expenses, Initiating corrective action as required.
* Promote the dealership and the Toyota brand within the wider community.
* Build strong, collaborative relationships within the dealership, Toyota's network, and the local community.
* Oversee recruitment, training, and development of service department staff.
* Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction to build loyalty and trust.
* Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Lead by example, demonstrating behaviours that align with company values and The Toyota Way.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in automotive service operations in a leadership or supervisory role is highly regarded.
* Proven ability to drive performance, foster teamwork, and empower others.
* Highly developed customer service skills and a professional, approachable manner.
* Strong time management skills and a results-driven approach.
* Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic
* Technical aptitude and a hands-on understanding of workshop operations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Willingness to learn and grow within the role
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
