Central Australian Women's Legal Service (CAWLS) is a dynamic Community Legal Centre catering to women in Central Australia and the Barkly Region, with offices in Alice Springs and Tennant Creek.
Specialising in assisting women affected by Domestic and Family Violence, CAWLS adopts a holistic and culturally safe approach, offering services such as law reform, legal representation, client support, financial counselling, and community legal education.

About the Opportunity
Central Australian Women's Legal Service (CAWLS) is looking for a full-time Integrated Community Justice Partnerships – Team Lead based in Alice Springs, NT.

This new leadership role reports to both the Senior Management Team and Manager of Education & Policy.
It focuses on delivering remote outreach programmes and community-led education initiatives aimed at reducing domestic, family, and sexual violence and improving access to justice for women.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Engaging with local communities and services to co-design outreach programmes
Coordinating delivery of services and managing ongoing relationships
Overseeing data collection and contributing to grant reporting
Delivering community education on DFSV in remote settings
Coordinating the planning and delivery of remote community outreach activities
Leading a multidisciplinary team and supporting integrated justice responses
Collaborating across CAWLS to improve service delivery in underserved areas
Planning, facilitating and evaluating outreach and education activities
Travelling regularly to communities across Central Australia & Barkly region About You
To qualify, you will need qualifications in Social Work, Human Services, Community Development, or a related field, and/or experience in delivering community education, particularly in domestic, family, and sexual violence (DFSV).

You will also bring : Community development experience and facilitation skills
Strong understanding of DFSV and its impacts in remote communities
Experience coordinating programs, teams, or grants
Cultural awareness and ability to engage with Aboriginal communities
Ability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a team
Well-developed communication, time management, and organisational skills
High level of computer literacy and data / report writing capability
NT Driver's Licence, or ability to obtain one
NT Ochre Card and National Police Check, or ability to obtain both The following qualifications and experience will be highly valued : Post-admission experience in legal practice (desirable but not essential)
Previous experience working in Community Legal Centres
Community development training
Cultural awareness or DFSV training (desirable)
Experience working with First Nations or CALD communities As our ideal candidate, you will be motivated, culturally aware, and passionate about improving the lives of women in remote communities.
You'll be confident leading a team, delivering education, and building community partnerships.
