Duties:
* Design innovative and effective curriculum, aligning with internal and external policies, in collaboration with academic leads and course coordinators.
* Develop curricula that align with clinical competencies and accreditation standards to ensure students are well-prepared for professional practice.
* Create and evaluate evidence-based assessment tools to measure student performance and program effectiveness.
* Design, coordinate and teach subjects which provide a high-quality learning experience to students in clinical and theoretical settings.
* Provide leadership and mentoring to others in subject or course level curriculum design, development and delivery of teaching to improve the quality of learning and teaching.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Completion of a PhD or equivalent accreditation recognized by the University/profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline area.
* Demonstrated leadership in designing dental education curricula by applying innovative instructional design principles and learning theories, with a strong emphasis on clinical education.
* Demonstrated effectiveness in curriculum development and teaching with a commitment to excellence in teaching.
* Strong record of teaching/service evaluation, with appropriate evidence of quality and impact.
* Proven track record as a leading practitioner in dental education, recognized for expertise, knowledge, and contributions at both state and national levels.
