About The Role
Kickstart your physiotherapy career with a fantastic new graduate role in Tamworth. You will build skills across a wide range of clinical areas including orthopaedics, ICU, rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal, with exposure to maternity, burns, paediatrics, and hydrotherapy. You will work both independently and as part of a progressive, patient-centred physiotherapy team, with regular supervision from experienced senior clinicians. You will advocate for patients and contribute to high-quality care, while participating in structured education, supervision, and competency development tailored to new graduates.
You will be supported by senior physiotherapists and the Physiotherapy manager while becoming a connected member of the Hunter New England-wide professional network. Education is a focus, with opportunities for ongoing training, regular professional practice supervision, and development activities.

The Physiotherapy Department in Tamworth is a welcoming, skilled team committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. There is a broad Physiotherapy network across the New England Northwest. Tamworth offers rural charm and vibrant city life with educational, career, cultural, sporting, and recreational opportunities.
Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital is a major referral hospital with approximately 270 beds and a range of services including ICU, HDU, CCU, Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Hydrotherapy Pool, Musculoskeletal Outpatients and Fracture Clinic.

Requirements
Physiotherapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA
Current eligibility to drive in NSW and willingness to travel for work, including long distances
Additional Information
Australian Citizenship or permanent residency, or eligible visa to live and work in Australia (temporary visa holders will be offered according to visa conditions)
