Network Infrastructure Specialist
Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain the organisation's network infrastructure.
* Design and implement network architecture for optimal performance and security.
* Implement network security remediation and uplift in accordance with the organisation's requirements.
* Configure and troubleshoot network devices such as firewalls, routers and switches.
* Develop and implement network security functionality across networks.
* Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
* Provide technical writing support for the organisation's networks, including architecture and as-built-as-configured documentation.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience implementing and managing WAN/LAN networking.
* Experience implementing security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation and segregation techniques).
* Knowledge of implementing and maintaining network security infrastructure and security solutions.
* Experience in providing network monitoring and reporting activities and Industry certifications or equivalents.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Cisco networking devices.
* High attention to detail with good communication skills with stakeholders and clients.
* Experience in performing architecture reviews to identify gaps in security.
* Familiarity with operational technology environments and their unique constraints.
* Ability to conduct network security risk assessments.
