Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Supervisor
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the performance of mobile assets, ensuring safety, availability, and cost targets are met. This includes monitoring contractor relationships, addressing KPI variances, and reviewing contract claims.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversight of major contractor relationships, including quarterly reviews and invoice approval
* Monitoring and addressing KPI variances, labour overruns, and reviewing contract claims promptly
* Ensuring best pricing for non-MARC responsibilities and allocating costs accurately within relevant departments
* Sign-off on variations and review of all purchase orders before approval
* Monitoring tyre performance, purchase, maintenance, and contractor tyre management program to minimize downtime
* Conducting regular pit tours to assess hauling conditions and collaborating with the Open Pit Superintendent
* Monitoring critical spare stock to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations
Requirements
* At least 3 years' experience in a supervisor role within the mining industry or similar
* Trade qualified with AUR30999 Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical or equivalent
* Familiarity with Open Pit mining equipment maintenance, heavy mobile and light vehicle fleets
* Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class C Driver's Licence
* Previous experience with CMMS, Pronto or similar software desirable
* Experience with contractual administration desirable
