This is a pivotal moment for the business, as we enter our next phase of explosive growth — and we're looking for a marketing expert who's ready to scale our acquisition engine and drive impactful campaigns across Australia's corporate landscape.
About the Role
We're looking for a Growth Marketing Analyst to help design, build, and scale the systems that drive user acquisition, retention, and revenue at EatFirst. You'll work across the entire growth stack - from real AI automation and data analysis to creative testing and coding.
This role gives you exposure to every part of a fast-moving, successful tech company that's redefining its industry. You'll have the opportunity to help drive our growth trajectory, ship work you're proud of, and grow alongside a team that moves fast and builds with purpose.
You will be the second member of EatFirst's growth team, giving yourself a rare and exciting opportunity to create a meaningful impact from day one and learn something new every day.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Acquisition: Drive top-of-funnel growth by optimising sign-up flows, landing pages, and marketing funnels to increase lead generation and conversion rates.
* Campaign Strategy & Execution: Design, launch, and scale multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, paid media, referral, and CRM to acquire and retain high-value customers.
* Lifecycle & Retention Marketing: Develop and manage lifecycle communications to nurture engagement, drive repeat orders, and reduce churn, using tools like Customer.io, Apollo, Clay, and Metabase.
* Growth Experimentation: Design and run A/B tests and growth experiments across the customer journey - from sign-up to repeat purchase - to continuously improve key metrics.
* Data-Led Decision Making: Monitor and analyse campaign performance and customer behavior. Build dashboards and reports to track CAC, LTV, churn, and key funnel metrics.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Product, Sales, Design, and Customer Success to align growth initiatives with user needs and commercial goals.
* Marketing Operations & Enablement: Support the build-out of scalable processes, reporting infrastructure, and automation to enable efficient and high-performing marketing execution.
* Commercial Impact: Contribute directly to the company's revenue targets by increasing customer acquisition volume, boosting retention, and improving marketing efficiency across the board.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Marketing Foundations: Some hands-on experience or strong interest in digital or growth marketing - whether through internships, side projects, freelance work, or personal initiatives.
* Tool Familiarity: Basic understanding of SEO, email marketing, or CRM platforms such as Customer.io, Apollo, Attio, or Segment is a plus.
* Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with data and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics or a strong willingness to learn analytics platforms like Metabase.
* Growth Mentality: A natural experimenter who enjoys testing, iterating, and making data-informed decisions to drive measurable outcomes.
* Bonus Skills: Exposure to SQL, light coding, or marketing automation tools - or a fast learner eager to pick them up.
* Collaborative Communicator: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work cross-functionally and translate insights into action.
* Independent & Proactive: Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo.
* Sydney-Based: Must be based in Sydney and available for in-person collaboration with the wider team.
