Job Title: Lead Pharmacist
Lead a multidisciplinary team of pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services in cardiothoracic surgery and critical care.
* Provide expert-level clinical pharmacy services to patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery and cardiac critical care procedures.
* Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical pharmacy services to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead specialist clinical pharmacy practice for cardiothoracic surgery and critical care.
* Deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services to meet the needs of patients and staff.
* Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement new clinical pharmacy services.
Working Environment:
The Royal Sussex County Hospital is located in Brighton, England. The hospital is currently undergoing an extensive redevelopment and expansion, which will include the construction of a new building with state-of-the-art facilities.
The cardiothoracic critical care unit will be moving into the new building shortly, and this role will play a key part in facilitating this transition.
