WHAT THIS ROLE IS:
A senior executive leadership role within a nationally recognised residential design firm servicing high-volume builders across Australia.
This is a full-time appointment for a commercially driven General Manager who owns the numbers, leads from the front, and understands that stability without diversification does not scale.
You will take full operational and commercial control of a multi-million-dollar business entering its next phase of growth.
Your leadership will directly influence revenue diversification, EBITDA performance, governance structure, and long-term enterprise value.

Now, with a clear mandate for expansion and reduced client concentration risk, they are seeking a General Manager to take full control of daily operations, drive commercial outcomes, and lead structured national growth.
This role requires someone who treats the business as their own enterprise, aligns constructively with the Board, and operates with commercial maturity and accountability.
You must be capable of stepping in, leading founder transition, and building scalable structure without hesitation.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES.
You will be trusted to:
* Take full P&L ownership and accountability.
* Drive 15–25% annual revenue growth through structured expansion.
* Reduce reliance on any single client to below 50% of total revenue within 24 months.
* Secure new volume builder partnerships nationally.
* Formalise commercial agreements and strengthen service contract structures.
* Improve EBITDA and operational efficiency.
* Lead operational delivery across design and documentation teams.
* Build a performance-driven culture with clear accountability standards.
* Report directly to the Board with transparent financial oversight.
This is an outcomes-led executive role.
Revenue growth and margin improvement carry equal weight.
WHAT THIS ROLE REQUIRES.
This role will suit you if you:
* Have 8+ years in senior leadership within construction, engineering, architecture, or professional services.
* Bring proven experience scaling revenue in a structured commercial environment.
* Are financially literate and confident owning EBITDA.
* Are commercially decisive and comfortable negotiating with volume builders.
* Can implement governance, structure, and performance systems.
* Are capable of managing founder transition with professionalism.
