Our team is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care and support to residents living with physical and intellectual disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complex health needs of seven residents, aged between 37 and 83 years. This will include overseeing medical and clinical care, such as epilepsy management, catheter care, PEG feeding regimes, dysphagia support, and adherence to Modified Meal Plans (MMP) for oral intake.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage medical and clinical care
* Support AINs and DSWs with personal care tasks
* Monitor and document health status changes and escalate as required
Requirements:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Experience in disability or aged care settings
* Strong understanding of PEG, catheter, and seizure management
* Excellent communication skills, especially in working with non-verbal clients
