Leadership Role in Mental Health Services
This senior leadership position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the provision of recovery-oriented, trauma-informed mental health assessment, treatment, care, and support to consumers and their families in Warrnambool and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of over 20 professionals, including social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, and medical staff.
* Collaborate with psychiatrists and senior staff to ensure efficient distribution of work and daily clinical practices.
* Oversee recruitment, staff supervision, financial planning, and service planning.
Essential Qualifications
* Nursing: Registered Nurse with AHPRA Registration and at least 5 years' experience in mental health services.
* Occupational Therapy: Degree in Occupational Therapy, AHPRA registration, and at least 7 years' experience in mental health services.
* Social Work: Degree in Social Work, eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers, and at least 7 years' experience in mental health services.
* Psychology: Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist and at least 5 years' experience in mental health services.
