Your new role
Your new role as Internal Sales you will join and a fantastic business with responsibilities not limited to:
* Deliver a high standard of customer service by proactively responding to enquiries and efficiently managing customer requests.
* Accurately prepare and process sales quotations, customer orders, and production orders within required timeframes.
* Coordinate stock purchasing from internal and external suppliers to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
* Monitor and follow up on outstanding quotes and orders, ensuring timely updates and fulfilment.
* Build positive relationships by providing friendly, professional, and solutions‐focused support to customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Assist the accounts department with banking tasks, payments, and customer account enquiries.
* Use strong sales skills to identify additional needs and act on opportunities to increase sales.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to support a compliant and efficient workplace.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will meet the following criteria:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective interactions.
* Demonstrated sales ability supported by confident and professional interpersonal skills.
* Well‐developed organisational and time‐management skills to handle competing priorities efficiently.
* Sound product knowledge and the ability to recognise product ranges to support accurate customer assistance.
* Positive team player with the initiative to support the broader team whenever needed.
* High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy across all tasks.
* Practical problem‐solving abilities and sound judgement - applying a strong level of "everyday common sense" to daily work.
