Great opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real difference as a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Stroke, Rehabilitation, and Falls.
What you'll be doing
1. Provide expert clinical advice, organizational leadership, and consultancy services within the nursing specialty across multiple service groups, target populations, and healthcare professionals, delivering high-quality stroke, rehabilitation, and falls prevention and management services.
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consumers, and partners within the Far West Local Health District and NSW Health.

The Location
Broken Hill offers a unique community environment with a supportive population. It is only 3 hours' drive from Mildura, 5 hours from Adelaide, or accessible by a short flight from anywhere in Australia, with amenities readily available.
Minimum Requirements
* Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* At least 5 years of full-time equivalent post-registration clinical experience, including 3 years in the specialty, with relevant postgraduate qualifications (Rehabilitation, Stroke, or Cardiovascular Disease).
* Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal, with advanced IT skills for consultancy and influencing nursing practice.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience in leading quality improvement, practice development, and evidence-based practice.
* Clinical expertise and leadership in stroke and/or rehabilitation.
* Ability to identify educational needs and develop educational resources for patients, clients, and healthcare professionals.
* Commitment to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and communities to improve health outcomes.
* Current NSW driver's license and ability to drive for work purposes.
