About the role
Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking experienced Clinical Nurses to join our Ward 1 (Medical) team on a permanent part‐time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided.
Established in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state‐of‐the‐art, 339‐bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.

Responsibilities
* Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence‐based, person‐centred care
* Demonstrate professional practice as evidence by adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and Healthscope's policies and processes
* Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintaining own professional learning and continuous professional development and providing supervision and teaching to peers, ENs, graduates and students
* Act as a valued member of the inter‐disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices
* Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the health care continuum
* Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes
* Current AHPRA registration
* 3 years experience within an acute environment
* 1-year minimum team leader or in‐charge nursing experience (desirable)
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment
* Passion for teaching, educating and up‐skilling staff in cardiac operating theatres

Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC (where applicable) and evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment.
