Key Responsibilities
Network Design & Architecture
Design, implement, and maintain high-availability network architectures for trading systems (TWS, OMS, RMS, APIs).
Manage low-latency networks for exchange connectivity (BSE, NSE, MCX, NCDEX).
Architect scalable network solutions for Data Centre (DC), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Cloud environments.
Ensure redundancy across WAN, LAN, Internet, MPLS, and RF links.
Exchange & Regulatory Connectivity
Manage exchange leased lines, co-location connectivity, and last-mile redundancy.
Coordinate with exchanges, telecom providers, and vendors for provisioning and fault resolution.
Ensure adherence to SEBI, Exchange Circulars, and Cyber Security Frameworks related to network infrastructure.
Support exchange audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
Network Operations & Availability
Lead 24x7 network operations to ensure zero downtime during market hours.
Proactively monitor network performance, latency, jitter, and packet loss.
Define and maintain SOPs, SLAs, escalation matrices, and incident response procedures.
Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive action plans for network incidents.
Security & Compliance
Work closely with Information Security and SOC teams on firewall, IPS/IDS, WAF, DDoS protection, and VPNs.
Ensure compliance with SEBI Cyber Security & Cyber Resilience guidelines.
Participate in VAPT remediation, audits, and compliance reporting.
Implement network segmentation, zero-trust principles, and secure access controls.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Manage OEMs, ISPs, telecom vendors, and system integrators.
Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and cost optimizations.
Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders – Trading, RMS, Compliance, Infosec, and Management.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and administrators.
Plan skill development, training, and certifications for the team.
Ensure shift planning and resource availability during market and non-market hours.
Projects & Enhancements
Lead network upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
Drive automation and monitoring improvements.
Support new business initiatives, application rollouts, and exchange mandates.

Regulatory & Domain Knowledge
Strong understanding of Capital Market trading environments.
Familiarity with SEBI, BSE, NSE, MCX network and cybersecurity requirements.
Experience in handling exchange audits and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer Science / IT / Electronics).
Preferred certifications:
CCNP / CCIE
PCNSE / NSE
ITIL (preferred)
Experience
10–12+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
5+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
Mandatory experience in Stock Broking / Trading / Financial Services domain.
