About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dispatch/Receiving Clerk to join our fast-paced warehouse team. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our goods are accurately received, processed, and dispatched on time to meet customer demands.
This is a hands-on position that suits someone with strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining warehouse efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries
* Prepare, pack, and dispatch outgoing orders
* Ensure accurate stock control and inventory records
* Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (if licensed)
* Liaise with freight companies and couriers
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dispatch area
* Use warehouse management systems or ERP software for tracking
What You'll Bring:
Previous experience in a warehouse, or dispatch/receiving role
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good computer skills (experience with inventory systems an advantage)
* Ability to lift up to 20KG and work on your feet
* Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
* Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
