The Multimedia Assistant supports the day-to-day content creation needs of the Community Relations & Advancement team. This role is ideal for an early-career creative who is developing their skills in photography, videography, social media content and basic graphic design.
Working under the guidance and supervision of the Multimedia Content Creator, the Multimedia Assistant will contribute to capturing school activities, preparing content for social media, assisting with simple design tasks, and supporting the production of print and digital materials.
This casual role is perfect for someone with a passion for visual storytelling, digital content creation, and supporting multimedia projects offering invaluable learning opportunities within a dynamic school environment.
Key Selection Criteria
* Interest in photography, videography and/or digital media production.
* Basic familiarity with creative tools such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or Canva.
* Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work flexibly across the week and attend key School events as required.
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic and readiness to contribute to a busy team.
* Some attendance at School events and occasional out-of-hours work.
* Current Working with Children Check is required.
* Previous experience producing social media content (personal or professional).
* Exposure to graphic design tools such as Adobe InDesign or Illustrator.
* Experience working or volunteering in a school, community or events setting.
* Knowledge of digital file management and basic editing workflows.
