Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney's western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join the Women and Children's Social Work Team at Nepean Hospital.
As part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, the Social Worker addresses the complex interactions between patients, their external environments, and the hospital treatment process. Your key responsibilities as a Social Worker will include assessing and respond to the psychosocial needs of women, children, and their families, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, as well as facilitating safe and timely transitions through the hospital system.
If you want to be part of a supportive and collaborative team, contribute meaningfully to patient wellbeing and work within a dynamic hospital environment focused on holistic care, we encourage you to apply now.
