An exciting Temporary Part Time position has become available for a Project Officer to join Nepean Hospitals Cardiology Team. You will work closely with the Head of Department and Divisional Manager to contribute to the planning, development and delivery of strategies and activities that support management of cardiology department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking activities relating to quality improvement, service planning, revenue generation initiatives, cost containment, strategic procurement and effective utilisation of human resources. What you will bring to the role Tertiary Qualifications in Health or Business Management and/or relevant health experience. Relevant organisational and management skills to support cardiology projects and initiatives. Demonstrated analytical skills with particular focus on performance and service related KPIs. Experience in the preparation of briefs, business cases and reports, with preferable experience in Content Manager. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of financial and business management within a healthcare setting. Ability to work within financial constraints and adhere to policies and procedures within a government department. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders including clinicians, health service managers, vendors and other departments.
