The Role
They are now seeking a Procurement Manager – Ag Chem/ Seed to join the Supply Chain team. Reporting to the GM Supply Chain, the role focuses on partnering with their suppliers and internal stakeholders to maximise procurement spend, aligned with strategic goals.
Your responsibilities include:
* Maintain & grow existing supplier relationships
* Managing supplier panels, contracts and optimising commercial terms
* Strong alignment with the retail team
There may be some travel in the role, to attend face‐to‐face meetings with suppliers and stores.
The Person
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Proven experience within the agricultural crop protection/ seed market supply chain
* Strong relationships with agricultural industry suppliers
* High level negotiation skills and commercial acumen
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Analytical skills, attention to detail and a commitment to safety
The role is initially office based to support onboarding, training and integration with the team. Hybrid working arrangements to be discussed after settled into role.
