About the role
The Adjudication Officer is responsible for assessing and determining the subtility of applications to hold or continue to hold a firearms or weapons licence, permit or authority. This includes conducting probity assessments and applying legislation to ensure decisions are made in line with relevant guidelines, policy and legislative requirements.
This Talent Pool is being created for future Ongoing or Temporary roles that may arise over the next 18 months.
Placement in the Talent Pool remains valid for 18 months. There is no guarantee of employment as a result of this Talent Pool.

To be eligible for ongoing roles, you must meet one of the following statuses:

* a New Zealand citizen.
Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.

Total Remuneration Package: Base salary ranges from $84,659 to $92,701 plus employer's contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading.
