Electrician / Project Manager

* This role is based in Breakwater, Geelong.
Key Responsibilities
* Ideally seeking an Electrician looking to transition to project management
* Essentially plan and support the delivery of a number of projects in the water industry and wider electrical industry.
* Typical projects include switchboards upgrades, generator installations & various electrical and instrumentation components of other multi-disciplinary projects (generally water industry).
* Ensure projects are delivered safely and to a high standard.
* Delivery of projects with agreed timeframes, budget and to company standards and policy.
* Meeting key accountabilities including organisation KPI's.
* Strong ability to ensure stakeholder engagement is completed.
* Drive outcomes with purpose, accountability, and action.
* Collaboration across business and organisational boundaries.
* Work cooperatively with other teams within the business and workshop.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade background
* Ideally A Grade Electrician.
* Ideally seeking an Electrician looking to transition to project management
* Substantial industry experience in project management (utilities sector)
* Practical experience leading projects to deliver on key milestone and objectives.
* High standard of work with attention to detail
* Competent in the use of computers
* Demonstrated experience of current and emerging technologies is desirable
* An understanding of industrial relations issues and a commitment to OH&S practices.
* Good attitude, ability to work closely with the teams.
