Job Title: Casino Environment Services Professional
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the casino, including offices and assigned buildings. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on our guests' experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean and polish floors, walls, and ceilings to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
* Dust and polish furniture, blinds, and equipment to ensure they remain in excellent condition.
* Keep restrooms clean and tidy, filling dispensers as needed.
* Vacuum, spot clean, and shampoo rugs, carpets, and furniture using commercial-grade vacuum cleaners and shampooing equipment.
* Identify and report malfunctioning bathroom fixtures, light fixtures, and damages to room and hall furnishings.
* Maintain continuous rounds throughout the casino and associated property to uphold cleanliness standards.
* Initiate work orders for repair/maintenance as required.
* Stock areas with necessary supplies to ensure efficient operations.
* Move furniture, equipment, or fixtures as needed to accommodate various requirements.
* Wash dishes or utensils as required, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
* Replace light bulbs as necessary to maintain adequate lighting levels.
* Recognize and correct unsafe practices and conditions to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
* A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
* One year of custodial experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is ideal.
* Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques, and standards is beneficial but not essential.
* The ability to read English is crucial for success in this role.
* You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
* In some cases, a California Driver's license and Black Oak Casino driver's permit may be required.
* You should possess the skill to use cleaning products and equipment efficiently.
* Effective communication using 2-way radios and/or cell phones is necessary for teamwork and coordination.
* A successful candidate must pass a mandatory drug test.
* A valid gaming license and evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S. are mandatory requirements.
* Proficient communication in English is essential for this role.
