HOBAN Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and proactive APS 4 level Business Support Officer to join a key Federal Government Division located in SURRY HILLS NSW. This dynamic role sits within a high-performing team responsible for supporting analytics, data and actuarial functions across the Scheme.
You will be an essential contributor to the operational success of the division, assisting with stakeholder engagement, financial administration, and project support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage team inboxes, handling administrative and operational enquiries
* Support onboarding and offboarding of staff, and general HR project coordination
* Process invoices and assist with monthly financial accruals
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the division
* Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations
* Provide support on high-volume data entry and document management

Your Profile:
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (intermediate level)
* Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
* Great verbal and written communication skills
* Experience in stakeholder engagement and managing sensitive information
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* Flexible and adaptable - you're comfortable with change
* SAP experience and invoice processing (desirable)
* Understanding of, or lived experience with, disability (highly regarded)
* A positive and contemporary attitude toward disability inclusion
