About the Role
Edutemps is recruiting on behalf of our client, a highly regarded Registered Training Organisation (RTO), for passionate and experienced Health Trainers / Clinical Educators.
These roles will play a pivotal part in building a strong Aboriginal health workforce, empowering students to complete qualifications in a culturally safe and supportive learning environment.
Two opportunities are available:
Full-time Melbourne-based role – immediate start
Part-time (transitioning to full-time by March 2026) – regional travel required
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess accredited health qualifications (HLT30121 & HLT40221) in an engaging and culturally safe way.
- Provide tailored support and mentoring to students, helping achieve strong retention and completion outcomes.
- Develop and adapt learning and assessment resources to meet student and workforce needs.
- Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining compliance with VET standards.
- Collaborate with compliance and student support teams to ensure best practice outcomes.
- Contribute to the design and improvement of Training & Assessment Strategies and related documentation.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
- Diploma-level qualification (or higher) in Nursing – ideally with AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience in primary or acute care.
- Previous experience as a Clinical Educator and/or in adult education.
- Strong knowledge of cultural safety in education and training.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and support learners.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and proficiency in MS Office and Student Management Systems.
Highly Regarded:
- Experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Experience within the not-for-profit or community-controlled sector.
- Understanding of Aboriginal community control, culture, and health.
