The Role
We have an immediate vacancy for a full time HSEQ Officer to join our team.
Ideally we are looking for an experienced HSEQ officer, however those with relevant experience and qualifications are also encouraged to apply. This role will be based in our Rivervale office, however will require short visits to our Newman sites (FIFO) once a month. You will work closely with the site-based HSE Advisors and the HSEQ Manager to complete duties.
Uplift is provided for FIFO time on site
* Conduct site audits and safety inspections
* HSEQ reporting
* Update HSEQ documents required for project tender submissions and new project mobilisation
* Assist with maintaining WHS registers across sites
* Communicate HSEQ requirements to project teams
* Updating the company HSE management system
* Using our HSE software - MyOsh
* Promote a strong safety culture across all sites
Requirements for the Role
The ideal candidate will meet the below requirements but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply:
* Cert IV Work Health Safety - Minimum
* White card or willing to obtain
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
* Previous experience working in a HSE or relevant role, ideally in a construction or mining environment
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
