Cleaning shifts will be negotiated with the school and worked alongside existing cleaning staff where operationally required. School cleaners play a vital role in maintaining a hygienic and welcoming environment by adhering to high cleaning standards. Applicants will be contacted by schools as vacancies arise.

Your Opportunity
As a Cleaner, you will:
1. Support the efficient operation and environment of the site by providing high-quality cleaning services.
2. Complete duties to standards set by your supervisor, in line with the school's cleaning program.
The Cleaner reports to the school Principal or their delegate, or directly to the Site Manager in non-school locations.
Your Role and Responsibilities
* Clean windows, doorknobs, taps, sinks, and other surfaces.
* Sanitize toilet facilities and sick bays.
* Maintain cleaning equipment.
* Control cobwebs and mildew using extendable tools.
* Clean various surfaces including concrete, asphalt, and paved areas.
* Dispose of rubbish and manage litter, including drain and gutter cleaning.
* Dust furniture, equipment, and fans.
* Hose surfaces as needed.
* Remove graffiti.
* Sweep and vacuum floors.
* Maintain vinyl and timber floors, including buffing, stripping, and polishing.
* Perform other cleaning duties as directed by school management.
Security and Liaison Duties
* Activate/deactivate security systems and lock/unlock buildings.
* Coordinate with school staff regarding cleaning supplies and report safety or damage concerns.
* Refer visitors to appropriate personnel.
