We are seeking a hands‑on IT Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support for a short‑term contract. This role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, and would suit someone who enjoys working in a client‑facing support role with a solid focus on service delivery.
What you’ll be doing
- Troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues for end users
- Deploying, replacing and swapping desktop and laptop computers
- Actioning and resolving support requests through a ticketing system
- Working closely with remote support teams and following their technical guidance
- Providing onsite support independently and managing your workflow throughout the day
- Communicating effectively with staff at all levels, simplifying technical information and advising on best‑practice solutions
- Taking initiative to drive work forward, ensuring outcomes are met within agreed timeframes
- (Bonus) Using Microsoft Intune for device deployment and support – not essential, but a nice‑to‑have
About you
- Previous experience in a Level 1/2 Helpdesk, IT Support, Field or Desktop Support role
- Confident troubleshooting common IT issues and providing friendly, professional customer serviceAble to follow processes while working independently onsite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Available for the full contract period and able to attend the induction and handback
