**Principal Finance Officer** in Brisbane.
As a
**Principal Finance Officer**, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of funding and resources.
**Some of your duties and responsibilities will include**:
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of various financial management projects and reviews, including financial analysis, activity-based costing, financial modelling, cost versus benefit analysis and reviews of fees and charges across the department.
- Perform comprehensive financial management analysis, modelling, and evaluation of the department's financial data and reporting needs
- Prepare and deliver performance reports, project documents, briefing notes, evaluations, advice, and recommendations to stakeholders in alignment with milestones and objectives.
- Encourage a culture of achievement, striving for quality outcomes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and effectively managing risks that may hinder success.
Essential requirements include:
- Accounting qualifications along with CPA qualifications, the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia (ICAA), or MIPA status with the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA)
- Great verbal and communications skills
- Experience in stakeholder engagement
