We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about technology, electronics, and innovation, this is the perfect opportunity for you to grow and contribute to groundbreaking projects in the autonomous vehicle and drone space.
The Role:
As an Electronics Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing process. You will work closely with our engineering and assembly teams to ensure our autonomous drones and vehicles meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect electronic and mechanical components for quality and conformity.
Assemble electronic and mechanical parts following instructions and diagrams.
Assist in the manufacturing and assembly of autonomous drones & autonomous vehicles following engineering specifications and quality standards.
Execute tasks with a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest level of quality in our products.
Assemble and replace faulty boards and components and utilizing soldering skills when required in the assembly process.
Test electronic componentry and circuit boards used in production.
Identify and select various mechanical parts.
Safely handle and maintain tools and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Help manage inventory levels of components and materials to ensure a smooth workflow.
Conduct soldering and wiring tasks on components and circuits, including PCBs with SMT / SMD components.
Perform functional tests and inspections to ensure proper operation.
Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and quality checks.
Work closely with our skilled engineering and assembly team to achieve production goals efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role you will have technical background experience, and a desire to continue to develop professionally.
Ideally, you should have :
Previous experience in Electronic manufacturing, especially in an assembly role.
Intermediate to high level soldering skills.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing of drones and vehicles.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and battery technology, with expertise in safely handling and installing electrical components.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment in producing high-quality work.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenging tasks as they arise.
Commitment to safety and following workshop procedures.
Qualifications:
Diploma or TAFE Certification in Electronics field.
Requirements:
Full working rights in Australia.
Australian residents or citizens preferred.
