Job Summary:
The Final Trim Excavator and Grader Operator will be responsible for performing precise final trim work using excavators and graders equipped with GPS Trimble systems in a civil construction environment. This role demands high accuracy, adherence to safety protocols, and effective collaboration with the project team to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
-Final Trim Operations:
Perform final trim work with a high degree of accuracy using excavators and graders equipped with GPS Trimble systems to meet project specifications.
-Excavator and Grader Operation:
Safely and efficiently operate excavators and graders for earthmoving, grading, and site preparation activities.
-GPS Trimble Utilization:
Utilize GPS Trimble systems to perform precise grading and excavation, ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications.
- **Site Preparation:** Assist in the preparation of mining sites, including leveling, grading, and excavation for civil works projects.
-Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct daily safety checks and report any hazards or incidents.
-Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance checks on excavators and graders, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any defects or necessary repairs to the maintenance team.
- Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of operations, equipment usage, and any incidents or safety concerns.
-Collaboration:
Work closely with other operators, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure smooth project operations and adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications:
-Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience operating excavators in a civil works environment, with specific expertise in final trim operations.
-Certification:
Valid certification or license to operate excavators aand other relevant heavy machinery.
-GPS Trimble Experience:
Proven experience in utilizing GPS Trimble systems for precise grading and excavation.
-Civil Works Experience:
Proven experience in civil works, including site preparation, excavation, and material handling.
-Physical Fitness:
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and adverse weather.
-Team Player:
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to work with Supervisors and other team members.
-Attention to Detail:
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
